WHAT KIND OF HOLIDAY CRUISE CAN I EXPECT WITH JOLLY GOOD TIMES SAILING?
Jolly Good Times Sailing doesn’t provide the typical yacht "charter" holiday.
When you book a trip with us offshore, along the coast or the fjords of Sunnmøre you will be sailing together with the owners, making this a unique and personal experience.
The crew can handle all aspects of the Jolly without any assistance but we believe the best way for you to truly experience sailing is to join in and take part in all the action. If you have little or no sailing experience, you will definitely be able to pick up some basics while being safely guided by our accomplished sailors. The extent to which you participate is entirely up to you, your skills and level of comfort.
Sailing in the Norwegian fjords, the Jolly team prefer short sailing trips along the coastline for around half a day; giving you time to fully explore, hike or relax in the beautiful surroundings. Anchoring is always preferred over marinas as you have more space, privacy and the opportunity to take an impromptu swim.
WHAT KIND OF FOOD WILL WE EAT?
The kind of food we eat on board is delicious, healthy and high quality. “Kitchen Captain” Maria is an amazing cook who loves to feed our guests. Maria is in charge of the galley, and guests take turns to help prepare meals... This makes the experience more fun for everybody. Plant-based food is Maria's favourite, but her menu never lacks sea food (often the catch of the day!) or a good dish where meat is the star and protagonist.
Let us know if you have any dietary requirements so we can cater to your needs. Read more about Our Food HERE
