Ulrik
Born and bred in Oslo, with roots in the rugged west of Sunnmøre, I've always had a fierce passion for boating. I started my seafaring adventures in my early teens with motorboats, but soon discovered the thrill of sailing.
Since then, I've travelled the seas far and wide, accumulating thousands of miles behind the helm. As the captain of our own boat, Jolly, and on other vessels, I've witnessed some of the most breathtaking sights that the ocean has to offer.
What excites me most about sailing is the freedom to explore secluded locations that are only accessible by boat. The sea presents an infinite range of experiences, from the tranquillity of a calm sea to the thrill of racing against the wind.
As an engineer, plumber, electrician, mechanic, and all-around handyman, I've spent several years mastering every inch of Jolly. Through undertaking numerous major refits over the past couple of years, I've not only deepened my knowledge of the vessel but also honed my craft.
And as the captain aboard, I'm dedicated to ensuring everyone aboard Jolly has a time to remember. I possess all the necessary safety training, certificates, and experience required to navigate to our destinations safely. My ultimate goal is to create an unforgettable experience for everyone aboard Jolly, where every moment is an adventure worth having.

Hello, I'm Maria Fernanda, also known as the sail queen of Jolly Good Times Sailing. Despite being born in Cali, Colombia, which is not very close to the ocean, life took me on an unexpected journey, and now I'm a proud sailor and co-founder of Jolly Good Times Sailing in Norway. I've had some incredible experiences living and traveling in various parts of the world, I have to tell you that.
Before co-founding Jolly Good Times Sailing, I worked in the film industry, including on projects in some pretty amazing places, such as Cuba, France, England, Spain, Estonia, and even my hometown of Colombia.
Despite the excitement and glamour of the film world, I found that I needed something more fulfilling. That's when I met my partner, Ulrik, and we decided to create Jolly Good Times Sailing. Our goal is to share our love for nature, the sea, and all its wonders with fellow adventurers.
Over the years, the sea has provided me with countless unforgettable memories and challenges. From catching sight of sea turtles and dolphins frolicking to watching majestic whales breach, these are memories that will stay with me forever.
When I'm not out at sea, you can find me in the galley, whipping up some delicious eats. I absolutely love to cook and I find great joy in seeing people enjoy my food. To me, there's nothing more satisfying than watching someone take that first bite and seeing the look of pure enjoyment on their face. I'm always looking to improve my culinary skills and discover new flavors, so come on over and be my guinea pig.

Ramoncito - The Sailor
Ramoncito is a Carlin Pinscher born on February 4th, 2021, in a former fishing vessel docked in Bergen. He's spent his entire life at sea and has become a skilled sailor in his own right.
Despite his small size, Ramoncito is incredibly smart and always happy. He's a friendly pup who loves meeting new people and is adored by everyone on board.
While he occasionally leaves his paw prints on the deck, Ramoncito is a quick learner and always eager to please. He's adapting well to life on the boat and has even become quite fond of his favorite spot on the deck, where he can enjoy the fresh sea breeze and soak up the sun.
Ramoncito is a lovable and curious pup who's always exploring and barking at anything that catches his attention, including his own reflection in the water. He's quickly become an indispensable member of our crew, and we feel fortunate to have him with us on our seafaring adventures.
