Runde is located at the far end of the ocean gap and almost as far west in Norway as it is possible to get.

At Runde you can, among other things, see countless seabirds, visit the Runde environmental center and in addition see remnants of the treasure of the merchant ship Ankerendam which sank off the island in 1725.

Runde is an island that offers fantastic hiking opportunities where you can see both birds and marine wildlife up close and below the sea surface it hides at least as much excitement as above. There will also be opportunities for snorkeling / free diving if the tour group wants this.
