SAILING IN HJØRUNDFJORD
DISCOVER the jewel in the crown
Hjørundfjord is the neighbouring fjord of the more renowned Geirangerfjord, quite similar but still very different. The towering and steep mountains reaching the clouds straight up from sea level made road construction nearly impossible.
Still today some of the villages are only reachable by boat!
The raw and vast nature this fjord has on the menu can take the breath away from the most wandered person.
Join us sailing from village to village with exclusive day trips hiking mountaintops, dive in the world famous Lygnstøylsvatnet, kayaking and visit a local brewery and historical museums.
Hjørundfjord is a 35-kilometre long fjord arm of the larger Storfjorden that stretches south from Ålesund.
The map below will show you each of the places we will be visiting along those 35 km depending on the
length of the trip you choose (5 or 3 days)
